Dr. Jenny Werner, PT is the founder and executive director of Big Steps Physical Therapy. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with more than a decade of experience in outpatient neurology and pediatrics and is certified in TMR Tots. Throughout her life, she has had a passion for working with children and has grown in her understanding of their behaviors, emotions, mobility, and sensory needs. She works hard to create therapy plans of care based on individual goals while helping clients and caregivers live their best life and experience more freedom!
Dr. Jenny Werner PT, is from East County San Diego and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the community she loves so much. Dr. Jenny Werner, PT constantly looks for ways to empower children and their families to live their best life using a comprehensive approach which includes sensory integration, medical trauma awareness, equipment modification and simplified goal setting in addition to physical therapy skills.
She speaks conversational Spanish. Dr. Jenny Werner, PT enjoys being with family, playing with her small dog, finding good coffee shops, and painting. She looks forward to helping you and your little one.
